Just a few...

Well, at first I was able to actually arrange these and put them in order, but now blogger won't let me do that anymore. So, it's just a little hodgepodge of pictures from the last month or so.

Updates

So much has happened since I last posted about Collin turning 2 months. The reason I haven't made any posts lately is because our computer crashed! And I mean CRASHED! At this point, we've lost ALL of our pictures! Yes, we were the smart kids who didn't back anything up. Thankfully, most of Collin's pictures up to the point of the computer crashing are on shutterfly, so those are safe. But years worth of pictures of Robert and I and our family and friends are gone. HUGE bummer! We had a guy my parent's go to church with try to fix it but he said it's a mechanical problem and that something actually broke in our hard drive. Apparently professionals can retrieve our pictures, but it's quite pricey. So, if you know of anybody reputable and fairly priced, we'd love to know his/her name so we can at least talk with them about our situation.

So, moving on to our little guy. Obviously, he turned 3 months old last month. 3 months! Wow!! And now he's quickly approaching 4 months. I just can't believe it!! He's still sleeping through the night like a champ. He goes to bed now between 8:30 and 9:00 and sleeps anywhere from 7:30-8:30. He's still eating like a champ too! :) He's down to 5 feedings a day, but he also receives oatmeal with some fruit in it twice a day.

We had our first weekend getaway as a family of 3. That was quite an adventure. The week before Mother's day Robert had to travel to Wyoming for a business trip. So, we decided that Collin and I would meet him out there and we'd spend a day at the Tetons and and day at Yellowstone. This meant, however, that I would have to fly with Collin by myself! It was a daunting task, to say the least. I was so very nervous and worked myself up only to be so proud of Collin. He literally didn't make a peep on any of our flights! Getting through the airport and onto a plane by myself with all of his gear in tow was quite a feat, though. It's not something I would like to do again alone, but I am confident that I could do it and do it quite efficiently now. There were some interesting things that happened along the way, but it would be a ridiculously long post if I wrote it all out. If you're interested, though, I'd be happy to share some stories with you.

Because we were in Wyoming the weekend of Mother's day, we didn't really get to celebrate my first Mother's day as I had envisioned. Actually, we spent the first half of the day in the airport and on planes. But, I was with my 2 men, one big and one little, so I was a happy camper. Actually, my birthday is a week before Mother's day so we somewhat combined the two this year, knowing we'd be traveling home.

I can't think of anything else big that has happened. I still find myself in awe of the fact that I'm a mom and that we've been blessed with such a sweet boy. I just love him more and more everyday!

Oh, we're heading to the beach in 2 weeks. I'm very excited about that and to see Collin's reaction to the ocean and beach. We'll be there for a week.

Once we get this picture situation figured out, I'll make a big picture post. Until then, here's a picture I took of him with my phone. He's playing under his floor gym. I caught him mid smile..

2 months

Well, our little guy turned 2 months old this past Friday. Wow, 2 months already!! He's just the best baby. Unless he's hungry, he's very content and smiles a lot! And, he's sleeping through the night!! Yay! I love being a mommy more and more everyday.

I can be such a little ham for mommy.

I let Mommy and Daddy know that sleeping on my belly is the only way for me.

Here I am with my new sunglasses...what a cool dude!

I take after my Uncle Andy...I'm a 'little budda' just like he was!

I had my first cold and had a stuffy nose, so Mommy would let me lay in bed with her after Daddy left for work so we both could get a little more sleep.

Here's 'little budda' again!

I love my daddy!! Especially when he changes my dirty diapers! He's such a funny guy! One day soon I'll be able to ride my puppy Max like a horse! I'm getting a little practice in now.
