{Thursday, January 2} I enjoyed some time in the Word during the quiet of the afternoon.
{Friday, January 3} The kids and I enjoyed a challenging game of Chutes & Ladders. :)
{Saturday, January 4} I picked up some adorable boots for little Miss at Kohls and she loves them!
{Sunday, January 5} It was cold, snowy and slick outside but we were still about to tune into thechurch.at. So thankful for Alex's teaching and our church!
{Monday, January 6} Monday nights are date nights for us. We get the kids to bed then spend the rest of the evening together, watching a show, playing a game...whatever. I love Monday nights!
{Tuesday, January 7} It's no secret that I love family dinners. And although my parents, brother and grandparents live in the same city as we do, we have to be intentional about getting together for family dinners. I love that our new(ish) house comfortably holds us for those dinners.
{Wednesday, January 8} One of my guilty pleasure TV shows is back on...The Bachelor. While I'm still trying to figure out how (or if I should) work in the time to watch it this season, I sat down and enjoyed a cup of coffee and the show from Sunday night.
Now it's your turn!! We'd love to stop by your blogs and see what you're thankful for this week! Please feel welcome to add your link!
Cute boots! Do they make them in my size? :) Thank you for the link up! :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously! I'm a little jealous when my kids dress better than me ;) So glad you linked up with us!
DeleteI have been doing Thankful Thursday for the past three or four months so I am SO glad you made a link up for it! And I SO love The Bachelor!

Thanks so much for linking up with us! Happy Thursday!!
DeleteI love having date nights as well..! Entertaining the kids and making sure they are having a wonderful childhood is great.. But when there is a routine and a bed time, it gives parents time to remember why they fell in love and have some adult time..! Your week looks like it was a wonderful time..!

Date nights are awesome & I definitely love routine :) thanks so much for linking up with us!!
Delete:) Love this series! Maybe I can get my act together by next week and link up! I'm behind on my Christmas posts!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! I haven't posted our Christmas recap either. Hope you can join us next week. Happy Thursday! :)
DeleteSo precious. Chutes and ladders. Melt! That was one of my favorite games as a kiddo :)

We had a good time. But honestly, I don't recall ever playing it as a kid. It's fun to experience new things with them. :)
DeleteLove Emma's boots, and LOVE your red nails ;)
ReplyDeleteOh thank you! I'm putting my Christmas gift to good use :)
DeleteIt's so good to make time for people who are nearby! A lot of my husband's family lives relatively close to us and we love getting together but somehow in all the chaos of everyone's life, we don't do it as much as we should! I've never been big into the bachelor but I feel like everyone is talking about this season and it almost makes me want to watch it :) haha
ReplyDeleteIt definitely takes intentional planning to get our schedules aligned, but I love when we do. :) Well, it IS Juan Pablo this season...just sayin ;)
DeleteLove your date night tradition! And your family dinners! I wish we had family nearby but we try to do dinner/game nights with our friends every once in a while and that kind of makes up for it haha. What did you think of the Bachelor?! Should be an interesting season!
ReplyDeleteOh a quiet afternoon! Those are always great! I want those boots! So adorable! :) We do family night on Thursdays. It is so nice! I will probably post about it next week. I haven't watched The Bachelor. I'm currently hooked on Parenthood. Do you watch it?
ReplyDeleteYes, Parenthood!! We actually just discovered it and started with Season 1. We're currently on Season 2 and loving it!!
